Al Unser Jr is part of the famous Unser racing family. Â He was a very successful Indy Car driver having won a total of 34 races and two championships. Unser Jr won the Indy Car Championship in 1990 and 1994. He also won the Indy 500 two times including the 1992 race which was the closest 500 finish of all-time having won by .043 seconds. Â Between his father Al, his Uncle Bobby and himself, the Unser family has won the Indy 500 a record 9 times. Â This helmet was worn throughout the 1984 season.
